CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE -

 

PREPARATION TIME – 20 MINS

FREEZING TIME – 2 HOURS

BAKING TIME – 20 MINS

TOTAL TIME – 2 HOURS 40 MINUTES

YIELD – 30 COOKIES

 

INGREDIENTS FOR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

  • 240 gms Maida/all-purpose flour
  • 200 gms dark chocolate
  • 185 gms butter
  • 180 gms brown sugar
  • 90 gms castor sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Boiling water 30 ml
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

METHOD FOR CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

·        In a large mixing bowl , combine the butter , brown sugar, castor sugar and vanilla essence and whisk together with the help of a electric whisk or hand whisk for 2-3 minutes, or until it turns soft and fluffy

·        Once the butter sugar mixture is fluffy , add in the flour and fold it together till the mixture becomes a little sandy

·        In a smaller bowl, combine the baking soda and boiling water stir it well and add it to the butter mixture

·        Now mix it all well into a smooth dough 

·        Now ,Chop the dark chocolate and fold it into the dough

·        Once the chocolate is uniformly mixed with dough place a cloth on top of the bowl and refrigerate it for about 3-4 hours

·        When you are ready to bake the cookies , preheat the oven a 170 degrees for about 10 mins

·        Once the oven Is preheated , take the dough out from the fridge and shape them into equal balls and place it on an oven tray and bake them for about 12-15 minutes

·        Chewy, crispy and delicious chocolate chip cookies are ready
