SHREWSBURY COOKIE RECIPE

PREPARATION TIME – 15 MINS 

BAKING TIME – 10 MINS 

TOTAL TIME – 25 MINS 

SERVES -6 

YEILD – 15 COOKIES 

INGREDIENTS FOR SHREWSBURY COOKIES

  • 60 gms butter
  • 75 gms castor sugar
  • 60 gms margarine
  • 150 gms Maida / all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. milk powder
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp milk 

METHOD FOR SHREWSBURY COOKIES

  • In a bowl whisk together butter , sugar and margarine for about 5-8 mins , or until they become light and fluffy
  • In another bowl sieve together Maida, milk powder ,and baking powder
  • Once the dry ingredients are sieved add them to the wet ingredients and fold them gently into a batter using a spatula
  • Once folded into the batter , weigh the batter into 15 gms balls
  • Press the balls slightly and bake them in a pre-heated oven at 150 degrees for 10 -12 mins or till they turn golden brown
  • Let them cool , and enjoy amazing eggless Shrubbery cookies
