INGREDIENTS FOR BEETROOT HUMMUS

·        2 ½ CUPS BOILED CHICKPEAS

·        2 BEETROOTS [ BOILED AND CUT INTO PIECES }

·        1 TBSP LEMON JUICE

·        1 TBSP SESAME SEEDS

·        4-5 CLOVES OF GARLIC

·        SALT TO TASTE

·        ¼ TSP BLACK PEPPER

·        3 TBSP OLIVE OIL

·        2-3 TBSP WATER

METHOD FOR BEETROOT HUMMUS

  • In a cooker add the chickpeas and boil them for about 7-10 mins or until they become soft
  • Once they are boiled, place them in another bowl and keep them aside to cool
  • In the same cooker add the peeled and cut beetroot pieces and boil them till the them become tender and soft
  • Next in a blender add the boiled chick peas, beetroot , and all the remaining ingredients and churn it for 3-4 mins or until it turn into a smooth paste
  • Now transfer the beetroot hummus into a bowl and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours , in order for all the flavor’s to combine
  • Once chilled add a little bit of olive oil and serve ,
  • Tasty and flavorful beetroot hummus is ready!
