1.take 3-4 large potatoes wash and peel them and cut them into 1 cm thick strips
2. In a medium sized bowl , place the cut potato strips and cover them in water for 30 minutes or until the water is cloudy
3 . Once the water is cloudy , throw the water and wash the potato strips 2 – 3 times
4. Once nicely washed , place them on a dry cloth and pat them dry
5 . Once dry , take a pan fill it with oil and let it boil on low flame
6 . Now , place the potato sticks in the pan and let it simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes
7 . Once they turn slightly pale in colour , remove them from the oil , and let them cool till they reach room temperature
8 . Once they reach room temperature , re heat the oil to medium – high and fry them till golden brown
9 . Once golden brown , remove them from the oil , season with salt and serve
10. Crisp restaurant style fries are ready !, serve alongside with ketchup for best flavour
